What are the front desk hours?
The front desk is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For any special requests, we are happy to accommodate guests with prior notice.
Do you offer special rates or packages?
Yes, we offer seasonal rates and a variety of packages available throughout the year.
What activities are available at the resort?
We offer a wide range of activities including horseback riding, pickle ball, tennis, a kids’ club area, game room, mountain biking, jogging trails, property tours, fishing, kayaking, boat tours on our river, a romantic sunset cliffs lookout, and private beach setups.
What is included in the rate?
The rate includes a welcome beverage, daily turndown service with freshly baked cookies, a fresh fruit platter, and a guided tour of the property. Guests can also choose to add our Meal Plan at an additional cost when booking.
Does the resort offer free parking?
Yes, we provide complimentary private parking and valet service for your convenience.
How far is the resort from the airport?
The resort is located 2.5 hours south of Puerto Vallarta Airport and 1.5 hours north of Manzanillo Airport by land. Alternatively, guests can opt for a private flight to our landing strip, which is just a 25-minute flight.
When was the resort founded?
Las Alamandas was founded by Ms. Isabel Goldsmith and first opened her resort in 1990. With only 11 suites at the start the Resort has now flourished to 18 suites, Pickel ball courts, game rooms, gallery, Spa and much more added in recent years.
What does "Las Alamandas" mean?
The Las Alamandas name comes from a flower that grows in the property called Golden Coup or Copa de Oro in Spanish. You will see the whole Cobblestone path cover on both sides by the Alamandas flower as you arrive to the Resort.
Is the Resort Pet Friendly?
Yes, we are a very pet friendly resort where your best friend can run free with acres of lush green areas. We do have a $50++ USD fee per night per pet.
Do you have a Landing Strip?

Yes, we have a Private Landing Strip : Please note that our private landing strip is currently unavailable. We recommend using the Chamela airstrip, located just 15 minutes away.
